Villa Del Divos is Mr. Eight Development’s first residential project in the UAE, a collection of 108 homes on the first coastline of Dubai Islands. Mr. Eight is a European developer with more than 20 years of experience, and Villa del Divos was its debut in Dubai, followed by Villa del Gavi on the same islands. The project won Best Residential Property, Dubai, at the International Property Awards 2025.

The building is a low-rise design that blends a contemporary outline with European influence. Floor-to-ceiling windows open most homes towards the sea, and private outdoor spaces, from terraces to private pools, extend the living areas outside. Interiors are finished in Italian marble and natural stone, and the specification is built around a long list of design brands: British designer Tom Dixon created bathroom fixtures for the project, furniture comes from Cassina and Minotti, lighting from Flos and Zonda, bathroom elements from Antonio Lupi, kitchen appliances from SMEG, and Lalique contributes a signature piece in the entrance.

The range gives buyers a clear progression, from a compact first home or pied-à-terre by the sea to large family residences with generous terraces and uninterrupted views across the Arabian Gulf.

Amenities are resort in character. Two infinity pools overlook the sea, a Technogym fitness centre is joined by a yoga terrace, padel courts and jogging and cycling tracks, and a wellness centre offers a spa, sauna and cryotherapy. Private gardens, a lagoon, a children’s club and pool, and a private beach club complete the outdoor offer. Services are handled through the Mr. Eight Members Club, which includes an on-demand Rolls-Royce with chauffeur, a 24-metre motorboat with captain, bell boy and valet services, beach club access and in-house spa treatments.

Dubai Islands is a master-planned coastal district reached by bridge from Deira, with beaches, marinas, parks and new hotels arriving as the community develops. Downtown Dubai, the Dubai International Financial Centre and the Dubai Mall are around 20 minutes away by car, and Dubai International Airport is closer still. The islands’ golf course, the Deira waterfront and the older neighbourhoods of the city give the location a mix of calm and character that is unusual among Dubai’s newer seafront communities.

Villa del Divos was well received at launch, with close to 80 per cent of units reported sold by the time Mr. Eight announced its second project. It suits buyers who value design provenance and service over sheer scale, and families who want a smaller building with the facilities of a resort.
